The Centreville Labor Resource Center

The mission of the Centreville Labor Resource Center (CLRC) is to provide a safe, organized Center where residents and contractors can negotiate work arrangements with day laborers.

For members of the CLRC, we also provide ongoing educational and vocational training workshops.

By majority vote of the worker assembly, starting Monday, May 23rd, the new short job minimums are as follows: 3 hours or fewer of landscaping and other general labor: $60, 3 hours or fewer of heavier or skilled work like moving, painting, drywall, digging trenches, and other types of digging: $75; and 3 hours of fewer of housekeeping/cleaning: $70. At CLRC we strive to find the balance between what is fair to workers and affordable for employers, thank you for your continued support!

Here's What is New at the Center!

The CLRC receives no government funds; we run 100% on private donations and grants! All donations, no matter how large or small, are integral to our success, and we thank you for your support.
This project would not be possible without the generous support of our major donors:
